so that you can watch videos or slideshows on the big screen, and the USB-C female charging port can charge 

for the host computer. It can work on Macbook or Google new Chromebook Pixel and other USB 3.1 Type C supported devices.

This is my 2nd one of these because the first one didn't work. This one doesn't either...I will have to return and get a different brand that I know works. Nothing's wrong with the USB port because other products work... Just now this one.

The product was good except for the fact that the USBC Port did not work on it, but the HDMI port worked so I will return it and get a different model
