For the price, it is a great sound upgrade with the cheap PC speakers. I used it for both the PC (line in) and Phone (Bluetooth) for internet radio. Both worked flawless on first attempt.

None so far.

It is a great little sounding speaker while I am on the computer or internet radio. I was looking at the R1280DB as well, but the R1700BT has a nice finish and build, plus most online reviewers said that the R1700BT is worth the extra $50 with the better build and better sound.
