The enclosure works great. Exactly what I needed. I may end up buying the second one for my other computer.

Works to convert an old HDD to a backup drive that can be stored safely! I had no issue with any 3.5" drive used.

It works with service

The best part was the service who found and replaced the the defective cable and helped me get it running when i could not read the instructions. what were the 2 foam pads for and where? Just hard to read and easy to dismiss as confusing especially with a defective cable. Help for proper set up and use.

Ease of use and setup. Very convenient for storage expansion. I purchased 3 of these units which are plugged into a 4 port 3.0 usb expansion card in my pc tower. Each unit comes with its own power supply so it does not consume power from on board PC power supply. Lots of storage available depending upon the HD capacity one cares to use. Fast playing stored videos. No hesitation at any time.

I would recommend this product for storage expansion. I will purchase another unit.

Nice but...

Looks nice, and easy to install. Worked great with the first drive I had installed which was a Hitachi 1TB. No problems at all. It's made by Orico!
The inside of the bay is a little too big. You need to put foam in, which they do provide, to keep the drive from moving around. Again no problem with the first drive. Changed it out to a Seagate Barracuda 2TB which is a smaller drive, thickness wise.
If you are putting in an older drive that has the regular thickness of a 3.5" drive then you should be OK. If not find one that will fit more snugly with the drive you plan to install. Your mileage may vary.
**Would NOT recommend this enclosure.**
