bought today put my m-key in then put in slot and it showed the drive

serves the purpose for having an extra drive up to 2 tb

Branded adapter that cost less then half of the knock-off

Name brand product was also the cheapest. At the big online shop the non branded adapters were about 70% more money.

LED is very bright. I have a glass window on my case at it was driving me nuts. The LED is labeled and is near the mounting screw. A spot of black electrical tape and problem solved. Bracket is a bit long for my case. I had to bend the bracket by hand just a bit to get the screw to site tight to my case. No big deal.

Using the adapter my speeds are matched to my M.2 that is built onto my motherboard.

NOTE: For anyone on Win 7... if the NVME SSD you bought does NOT have drivers you will need this hotfix: Windows6.1-KB2990941-x64.msu I spent half a day trying solve this issue as Western Digital has ZERO drivers for the SN550. After installing the hotfix driver it worked perfectly.
