With a PCIe Gen 2.0 x 2 slot, the TS-1253DU-RP provides flexibility in extending NAS functionality, allowing you to install various cards for extra network ports, M.2 SSD caching/tiering, or Wi-Fi connectivity. The TS-1253DU-RP ensures data security with AES 256-bit encryption, boosting system performance while ensuring the safety of sensitive business data stored.

  • 2.5GbE connectivity accelerates file sharing between teams, and is idealfor office users for multimedia storage.

  • PCIe expansion allows for installing a 10/5/2.5GbE network card, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) card or QWA-AC2600 wireless adapter.

  • Snapshots fully record the system status and data. If files are accidentally deleted or modified, they can be quickly restored to previously-recorded states.

  • Scalable storage supporting virtualization, containerized apps, centralized storage, backup, sharing, and disaster recovery.

Additional high-speed network options from QNAP include USB 3.2 Gen 1 to 2.5GbE/5GbE adapters (supports N-BASET/Multi-Gig), QXG 5GbE/10GbE PCIe cards, and QNAP QSW 10GbE switches. All these options allow users to revolutionize their network at a cost-effective price.

Extend NAS Functionality with a PCIe Card

With a PCIe Gen 2.0 x 2 slot, the TS-1253DU-RP provides flexibility in extending NAS functionality and potential applications. To optimize system performance, install a QNAP QM2 card to add M.2 SATA or NVMe SSD caching/10GbE connectivity and use with Qtier tiered storage for optimal system performance. Wireless connectivity can be added by installing a QNAP QWA-AC2600. A QXG-10GbE/5GbE network card adds extra high-speed network ports. Alternatively, you can add an affordable QNAP QNA-UC5G1T USB 3.2 Gen 1 to 5GbE adapter to enjoy higher network speeds or boost the USB connectivity by installing a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) card.

The TS-1253DU-RP supports SSD caching to improve the workflow of random IOPS demanding applications such as virtualization. Qtier™ Technology empowers the TS-1253DU-RP with auto tiering that continuously optimizes storage utilization across high-performance SSD and high-capacity SATA drives. Qtier™ 2.0 features IO-awareness that empowers SSD tiered storage with a cache-like reserved space to handle burst I/O in real time, greatly maximizing the advantages of SSD.
