This is an HDMI to USB-A/Type-C Video Audio capture card,offering an ideal solution for commercial conference, video recording, broadcasting, live broadcasts, game entertainment,etc. Adopting chipset with ultra-low-latency technology, it supports to live on platform in no time. By connecting this product to HDMI source (eg: camera, computer, host, Switch, etc), you can capture video max 1080P/60Hz on your PC/notebook with max 5Gbps bandwidth. The capture card works with OBS. It was used to do recordings with my Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Looks to be 1080p60, for the recording. There is none to very little latency for the pass through on FPS games, which is crucial. Colors are all good, close or same as what you would get on your display.
There is some ghosting here and there, on FPS games. The audio is depending on the device you chose to record the sound. On one of them there is 4ms of delay. Which is fixable with editing. On the other audio device the quality is very bad but it will have less delay or none.
If you are considering to buy this for doing gameplays on YouTube, for example. This capture card will be suitable.
If you plan to live stream with your game console, the delay or quality of audio will make the viewing experience less desirable.
