- Tonnes of expandability with EATX support, 3.5” and 2.5” drive bays and room for many fans and/or radiators.
- Excellent wire management keeps the clutter hidden and airflow over critical components undisturbed.
- Really easy to work with given the huge amounts of space and well thought out design.
- Lots of connectivity with four type-A USB sockets and one type-C.
- Well designed airflow and even with an i9 12900K it’s dead silent unless you’re running full bore (video encoding), and even then it’s just a whisper.
- Dust covers on air intakes are easy to remove and clean. Especially like the bottom mounted PSU filter coming out of the side rather than the back, as that’s a lot easier to access.
- Enormous on the inside means enormous on the outside. Well suited for use under a desk like I did, but this would be *very* intimidating if placed on top of a desk. Look up the measurements before you buy and make absolute sure it will fit - the 5000D is likely a better choice for many.
- Thanks to the aforementioned size and steel construction, it’s a very heavy case and doesn’t include any handles so it can be difficult to move around.
- No HDD activity light - with modern SSDs being silent, not having this LED takes away an important feedback point.
- Four USB slots up front means it needs two USB connectors on the motherboard which is rare - if you don’t have them, then two of the slots up front won’t work unless you buy a PCIE USB adapter.
- No front mounted drive bays makes it difficult to add other front panel inputs in the future as standards change.
Got this behemoth as my desk setup works best with a floor mounted tower and the smaller cases were too short for that. It’s a massive beast so make sure it will fit in your workspace, and be aware it’s cumbersome to move around. In exchange for that, however, it provides tonnes of expandability and very well thought out airflow. My giant 140mm heatpipe aircooler fits with lots of room to spare, and the three fans I installed upfront are dead silent 95% of the time (the only time I hear it is when video encoding, and even then it’s just a whisper).
Build quality is impeccable with everything feeling rock solid. Door latches lock positively but are easy to open without tools, wire management is clean and easy to route and the tempered glass door is crystal clear. Fan mounts are removable, so no need to squeeze into small corners to install anything and the dust filters are easy to pop off and clean.
For most people the 5000D is probably the better choice, but if you need lots of expansion, want heavy duty water-cooling or need an under the desk tower it’s an excellent choice. Wasn’t sure how much I’d like the white colour when I ordered it, but it’s absolutely gorgeous once you see it in person and in my opinion looks a lot better than black. Very happy with my purchase!

Comically large, but great otherwise

- Large enough to accommodate for just about anything
- Great air flow
- The pre-installed fans are.... sufficient
- Great cable management options
- Very modular -- can add/remove panels as you see fit
- Comically large
I went into CC asking for a new case because mine had terrible airflow. They said I needed a full-tower because my old case was a full-tower, and that this was the only option they really had. I decided to go for it even though it is absurdly expensive, and I couldn't be happier.
This thing is massive. Chunky. large. It can fit your entire family and probably your pets too. The air flow is fantastic as well, with the pre-installed fans being sufficient. The cable management options are fantastic, and it is extremely modular which allows you to customize what you want (don't want to install HDDs? Get rid of the HDD storage and install more fans. Want to mount your GPU vertically? Use the default vertical mounting area. GPU too chunky to allow for proper airflow with a vertical mount? Remove the panels and install the supplied vertical bracket).
The only downside is that this thing is ridiculously large. If you want your desktop on your desk, that isn't happening. This thing is BIG and HEAVY. But hey, you can install 2 420mm rads and another 360mm if you really wanted, so at least cooling is definitely not an issue!
