Best case I've worked with
Reviewed by: Ryan
This case is a dream to work with. Roomy, a lot of customization possible. Very quiet.
Fan controller for those without PWM fans. Stock fans (non PWM) are quiet and provide decent airflow.
A lot of nice little features like rubber on the HDD trays to minimize vibration noises.
Cable management is easy to look like a pro with this case.
Dust filters keep your components nice and clean. Filters are very easy to clean.
Easy to install CPU cooler with Motherboard installed in case. Tonnes of room for almost any sized GPU.
Sound dampening material will have you wondering if you cmputer is even turned on while idle
I have an auto immune disease that really decreases my dexterity and makes me shake a bit. I had ZERO issues working in this case.
I bought it before they came out with the black out edition :(
some AIO water coolers (corsair h90) will not reach to the front fan mount, forcing you to either 1) reverse you air flow, negating filters. or 2) Mount radiator as exhaust. All things considered, I think the Define S is a better choice if you are going the water cooling method.
Best case I've worked with. I have now built 3 systems in the R5 1 for myself, 2 for others. Amazing case.
I replaced the stock fans. I have two Fractal Venturi 14s (PWM) as the intake, re used one of the stock ones a bottom intake always set to low using the fan controller. I prefer positive pressure.
Leave the top vents covered and exhaust out the back. Removing Modu-vent covers increases the noise.
