disclosure: I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback.
I've had this laptop for 3 weeks.
the fans have exhibited some weird performance.. twice, while idle, the fans began spinning up and I'm guessing close to the maximum because the laptop became loud! nothing was running. rebooting corrected this. not sure what caused it. going to have to keep an eye on that. otherwise, I'm pretty impressed with the system.
