I'm on my second unit of this laptop and both have had persistent issues with screen blink. It seems otherwise powerful but the screen instability is really disappointing, especially at this price point. Canada Computers staff have been great about offering support and exchange but I think I'm going to have to go with a different computer.

Great colorful 240Hz 1440 screen. Really powerful 16 core 7945X CPU. OK GPU RTX4060 with AV1 encoder/decoder (I do 4K video coding). Black Friday price was GREAT! 2 NVME slots. Nice RGB keyboard individually addressable. Only about 10-15% slower than my 7950X at 55W power usage! 16GB DDR5 Ram is minimal - will upgrade. Same with 512GB QLC SSD. Lots of BIOS adjustments including Curve Optimizer. I give it my highest recommendation especially if you get it on sale as I did.

This thing flies! The Ryzen 5945HX and RTX 4060 combo, make it comparable to a desktop workstation. There were some comments about bugs and quality issues, but keeping the system up to date with the latest BIOS, drivers, and OS updates will ensure the machine works fine.

Very impressed. Great price. Beautiful 240 Hz screen. Extremely powerful CPU for a laptop. Only 10% to 15% slower than my 7950X PC. I bought it mostly for video encoding so it's great for that. The built in AV1 encoding works great and the 4060 GPU is more than fine for casual gaming. I swapped out the QLC SSD for a much better TLC 4TB drive and bumped up the RAM to 32GB. This is now a rocket ship for about half the price of anything else available. LOVE IT!

A good laptop for its price, quality materials, I recommend it! Good for work and games, the processor is very powerful, so to get good temperatures you will have to lower the frequency.

To start, the customer service at the store was incredible with making sure the laptop was good for what I needed.
The laptop itself is a powerhouse with one of the best CPUs available for laptops. That paired with a 4060 make it a gaming machine that I’d recommend to anyone looking for a gaming laptop. All of that neatly wrapped with a 17.3”, 1440p screen make it wonderful to use.
